Accra, Ghana:17–19 February 2026
The AWCC coconvened with the Africa Water Justice Network (AWJN) and Women Collective Kenya a Feminist Political School in Accra Ghana from 17-19 Feb 2026. The intensive school brought together water justice activists, and grassroots leaders from Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Gambia, and Nigeria.
Rooted in African feminist traditions, collective struggles, and lived realities, the School aimed to strengthen women’s leadership, deepen political education, and build collective power in the struggle for water as a common good and a fundamental human right.
Through critical reflection, shared learning, and movement-building, the School contributed to nurturing bold feminist visions and strategies to defend water, life, and community sovereignty.
