About the Film
In the wake of Cape Town’s 2018 Day Zero crisis, Capturing Water reveals the ongoing battle against water privatization and environmental mismanagement. The film follows activists like Faeza Meyer, who campaigns against water cutoffs for poor households, Caroline Marx, who fights against sewage pollution, and Nazeer Sonday, who resists urban expansion threatening vital aquifers.
